Skype and battery life??

How is battery life when skype is on?

im on 3 UK and skype eats up the battery on my N95 8GB in 3-4 hours 😞 thinking of upgrade to N97, is there been any improvements?

Is Skype available yet on the N97?

When it was announced in December, the rumors were that it would come with Skype loaded, then the carriers complained and it was removed.

My N97 NAM did not come with it and going to the Skype website, the N97 is not listed as a compatible handset for Skype Lite.

It seems rather silly to have a phone with WiFi capability and a forward-looking camera not able to make video calls.

Skype is available. you can get it if you on 3 UK, they actually offer all customers unlimited skype to skype calls.

Skype will aparrently be available for all handsets in a future firmware update.

I think networks are being rather fussy about what phones should have, aren't they? They're complaining about Skype because it means they're lose money from phone calls, and yet they don't bat an eyelid at Wi-Fi???
