Nokia clearly saw the problem ..
We need new generation lens protector 😊
When I get my N97, I will be taking it apart and removing a piece from the blue lense protector to make it the same as the yellow N86 protector.

Well, I rang back the Nokia Indifference point I went to last week and they've told me that they'll replace the lens cover for me...
So it'll do it again, but it's a start...

Be interested to hear how you get on Dave. At some point I suspect Nokia will silently introduce a revised cover. Until then, we lucky N97 owners will have to keep making visits to the Indifference point. At least it gets me out of the office!

I'm just relieved I didn't sell my n95... While my N97 is being "fixed" (i.e. having the same problem reintroduced) I'm being visited by my old reliable friend...
