I'm stuck trying to get NSS working so I can debrand the new N96 I just got as a replacement as from my operator.
No matter how I set it up I get the "Error!" messages on the status bar with almost any transaction I did. I even tried installing XP clean as follows:
* Re-install XP
* Install XP SP3
* Install NSS with defaults
* Run
Result: Error
I read in a few places that the Nokia PC Suite has to be installed. I've tried downloading & installing that but it seems to make no difference at all.
I'm also confused about all the various driver options available: As i said, this time I used the default there are 3 others to choose from. What are they for, and might they work if the others fail?

At the moment Nokia Desktop is not installed.
uninstall nokia pc suite and install ovi suite thats what worked for me after tearing my hair out
Can you tell me which versions of the following products you used?
* Ovi Suite
* NSS
* Windows (did you use Service Packs?)
Did you have too install anything else?

vista ultimate 32bit sp2
ive also debranded using xp pro 32bit sp3
