Help! Some keys not working after narrow escape from bricking

OK I was upgrading the firmware on my e71 using the NSU and it lost connection half way through, couldn't sort it out and I thought the phone was dead.

Powered on and the backlight came on for 30 seconds then it died.

As I am quite stubborn I eventually managed to fix it using Phoenix and reflashing it.

I couldn't remember the product code so I guessed the one I thought it was.

Think I must've got it wrong though as now some of the symbol keys don't work (, .) and others give the wrong symbols.

Its alot better than not having a phone but still a little annoying.

I realize I should've written down the product code but is there anything I can do?

The phone was originally a three uk one but think I changed it to generic firmware somewhere along the line. Can't really remember. Maybe I need new brain firmware.

Can I do a sidegrade? change to firmware of same version but for different product code?

Thanks

urm, the product code for your handset is under the battery?!?

😉

You can reinstall the firmware so just connect it up to NSU again
