Unfortunately yesterdays comments were lost. PLease accpt my apologies as I know you posted on the previous thread.
Reposting after DB mishaps: Just wanted to write to say that I really enjoyed your collective discussion re: the Scoble article, and as an American I highly agree with what you all had to say. I do not believe that the US landscape is actually all that different from Europe, and most people that I know still communicate overwhelmingly via SMS and not by mobile web technology. There seems to be a dangerous trend, especially in America, whereby technology is rising more as a status symbol than as a functional system which works to enhance our daily lives. I get the feeling that all of you at AAS maintain this understanding, and I really appreciate your insights and commentary.
I love my N96 but do use my device more for SMS E Mail and the mobile web, its rare I make a voice call.
did they go too? I have been using podcasting on my e90 for months, but when i update it, it shows nothing....
@steve ever heard about OS 3.0 update? You do realize it brought something called "spotlight" to the iphone? So, you also should realize your talk about "swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe" to get to apps is utter BS now? One swipe to the right/2 clicks on home, spotlight appeats, then then press first letter of the app you want to launch, then launch it. Try to get your facts straight before going on a rant...
Also, Rafes clame that the 5800 is faster than the iphone 3G was very amusing
