how to sign applications

as the title says i've got my cert & key from the chinese site ive downloaded and installed freesign and ive downloaded isms v1.02 what do i do now ?:con?

You need to run freesign and go to settings, and browse to both the cert & key files.

Then, in the main display of freesign select "Add Task" and browse to the downloaded install for iSMS and select it.

It'll sign it and spit out a signed version to the same directory...

Then, open file manager (in applications/office) and browse to the newly signed file, and install.

Good luck...

is that run freesign on the main computer or on the phone?
sorry for asking as i cant seem to get my head round this.
thanks
riker1.

What apps are you having to sign?

I saw a commentary on another Symbian board that frowned substantially on people doing this.

Is it? Why?

Now, granted the apps that we're self signing might be incomplete or buggy, but isn't that half the fun...

So *sniff* You're seeing other sites now areyou *sniff*

😉
