Do you really have maps 3.1
Yesterday I have upgraded my maps using SW Updater .. but in the about page it is still written 3.01
????
What does about page shows as product version?

I also still have 3.01 after doing the update - but I had already loaded 3.01 from Beta Labs so I dont know if that means that it skips it on the updater.

Question - How does Google maps locate the phone so accurately with just the mobile phone network where Nokia maps is far less accurate?

They're both using the same information - perhaps the triangulation algorithm in the google product is better than in the Nokia one?

Sometimes, if the Nokia maps is giving me a stupid location I Load google maps which locates me instantly and when I go back to Nokia maps and it's then saying I'm in the right place. It's almost as if it needs google to do some of the work for it.
