Hi Guys,
Has anyone been able to install Tom Tom 6 on an E71? I tried to install it as normal and it appears on the applications list but it refuses to open.
I tried the same software on an N95 and works fine.
The model is a E71-1 (344.02)

I tried installing to the local memory and the memory but still no joy?
A friend also mentioned a similar problem with his N85 - which is so far unresolved.

It doesnt work.. Many people have tried and said it doesnt work.. Move on in life!
I don't use navigation myself , but few things come to mind :
1) is TomTom 6 compatible with S60 v3 ?
2) isn't the TomTom software restricted to one device only : Protected against multiple users ?
3) TomTom incorperated last year TeleAtlas and since then there is no TT available for Symbian . Instead the same TA maps are in the McGuider navigation software = the New TT for Symbian . Get it from the TeleAtlas or Sygic Website .

really need to move on from TT given most maps are more than 3 years old now, plus there is no internal GPS support (unless you go hacked - which will absolutely kill your battery life since it loops back the GPS through BT).
