Anyone here using iSilo on the N97?
How is it working? Someone on another forum suggested it, but wasn't using on their N97.
iSilo on the N97?
Not seeing any immediate response here, I went ahead and downloaded iSilo S60 5th edition version to my N97 to run it through its paces.
I'm glad that I took the time to read through the documentation--both online and built-in as I would have otherwise ruled the program buggy.
Instead some of the features that didn't seem to work are disabled in the "free" (non-registered) version. Basically, hyperlinks and combo box selections caused an immediate exit of the program.
One feature that I consider a "must" in an ebook reader is continuous scrolling which iSilo does have, so I will probably buy a full version of the program.
You have to use their iSiloX program on your PC to convert files to the required format and .prc files are about the only version that it cannot convert directly.
So it looks like I now have one working ebook reader for the N97.
Now if I can just find a 35,000 word english dictionary and a working copy of Wikipedia (local).
