Just a heads up to anybody else waiting on the latest firmware version from 3 - it's now available on Nokia Software Updater (still not available OTA). I'm just updating now - let's hope it fixes all the issues I've been having and I can start to enjoy the phone properly.:biggrin:

As a Mac user it looks like I'm toast. The charger socket on my n97 is faulty, the radio doesn't work and, when phoning from the phone book I get an error message 50% of the time and have to start again. Using the phone book often requires an excessive amount of steps before you make the call anyway.
3 are prevaricating on replacing it. After 10 days I know all the people at the call center, ask them about their family etc. I will be bald by the time this phone has finished with me.
Shame it isn't OTA as I only have access to a Mac at the moment. 20 days is pretty good for 3 to post an update. I wonder if any other UK networks have yet.
