Contacts issue..?

Hi All, I have all my contacts on the phone as you do. When someone rings me the number comes up not the contacts name. This happened on the N95 because I had some contact in twice, and when I deleted them all was good.

But on this phone somethings different. First had all contacts on phone memory and this didn't work, then copied all to Sim memory and deleted duplicate contacts (tediously) but still no joy.

Can anyone help with this please?

I have this problem but only with one contact (my bruv) for both his mobile number and home number - I didn't have this trouble with the N95 so i don't think it's a guarded number or anything like that

On the N97 i'm with orange
On my N95 i was with 3

My brothers girlfriend has exactly the same problem with just his numbers, she has an N95 8gb and is on O2

tis a bit weird :redface:
