Can anyone give me step by step instruction on how to format disc C:\ on P800, particularly how to enter into the hidden menu. This trick with Jog dial down, * .... does not work or I have tried to use it incorrectly. Please explain exactly which combination of jog dial turning/pressing with asterisk should be done. I have done it with flip closed mode (unlocked) but when I made first press on jog dial it run the menu item of course (contacts in my case).

jog dial down means not to press it down but to turn it down...
What's this "Hidden Menu" and what are the key press to unhide it? I'm curious
there are 2 known hidden menu items.
you get to them by a combination of turning the thumb wheel either up or down, with a few asterisks in between.
do it in flip closed mode & unlocked keys.
here's how to do it:
1- Hidden Menu = Service:
[list] U * D D * D *[/list:u]
2- Hidden Menu = Network:
[list] D * * D[/list:u]
What does formating c: actually do? Will it restore the phone in factory settings?
