seen this on a other forum i've no idea if it has been posted here before

type "m.youtube.com/app" in your browswer on phone.

the is from youtube site for a dedicated application that is made for windows and s60 phones.

DEvice Not Supported

Sorry, Youtube is not supported on your device.

I suppose it will be some time before we see an N97 version.

If anyone has seen the AAS homepage recently, you'd know that the 5800 was recently added to the supported devices list but strangly the N97 isn't yet.

I've not had any luck with youtube on this phone at all yet.

I've tried it through the link that came with the phone and via web search - i get through to the page ok but when i click on a video i just get the little loading circle and nothing else.

I've also linked through to youtube via opera mini, i get through to playing the video this way but the pixels are all mushed.

:frown:

i have the youtube sis... Not that great though, it seams to take ages to buffer.. I think I got it from the nokia addict site...

Youtube mobile app for the 5800 works, but doesn't fullscreen - I get the option buttons on the right hand side. Any ideas?

Got it working ok from the download link. 2 issues for me really.

1, Videos seem quite pixelated, not great quality but watchable.

2, No full screen option, menu just stays on the right of the screen, bit dissapointing.

Overall though it's ok and by the time a version is released for the n97 specifically I'm hoping it should have all the wrinkles ironed out.
