Sports Tracker - Which to Install

5 replies · 6,422 views · Started 26 July 2009

I have just acquired a 5800 after someone stole my N95. I want to install Sports Tracker, but the Nokia Web site doesn't have a version for the 5800. My son has an O2 branded 5800, which came with Sports Tracker installed, so one version obviously works!

I have tried several different versions from the Nokia web site, but can't find one that works. Can anyone tell me which version I need to install for the 5800?

Ian.

For some reason nokia took down the 5800 version of sports tracker. But if you use that link above, or just google for it, you'll find it no problem. Its out there.

Thanks. Downloaded and installed.

i think they took it down as it had several bugs. not adding media correctly being one, but didnt effect its core functionality.

Well, that's not a solution: better a buggy version than none at all.
Nokia's application development and bug fixing for the 5800 is painfully slow: the browser's RSS reader hangs with "unknown error", mail does not support standard secure connections, SportsTracker hangs when music is played and overall the UI gets less and less consistent... :icon13:
