After three days of delays (FX: looks meaningfully at YouTube's system manager and the programmers of S60 Podcasting), The Phones Show 86 is now online - and available via RSS from the usual addresses. Subjects covered: News, Qwerty phones, my N86 video zoom demo and my verdict on the Samsung i8910 HD. See here for the video, RSS links and more info.

Sorry Steve, stupid question. I saw a very useful table on your website that help user's choose a mobile device - it has various rating on functions/price and etc. I was wondering if you can point me to it? I'm helping my friend figure out what he needs. Thanks!
...what *was* the problem? "Looking meaningfully" doesn't help so much, I think.
Your comments on the frustrations of using a number keypad device to write text are spot on. I really really think my N95 8Gb is a top device but any writing was a real chore, so when the N97 arrived I was queuing at the door of the Nokia store (with that other bloke, Rafe got let in before me!). I am now blogging daily on the train, tweeting and updating Facebook, even sending text message replies that can be understood. I now truly have a laptop replacement.

Podcasting chokes when an RSS file gets to a certain size, it seems 8-( In my case, about 87 entries and 80kb.
The RSS link for the (http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/sshow/sshow.rss) is not working anymore in the podcast app on my 5800?? Or it is not updating with number 86 show at least, any idea?

It's working for others now. Try deleting the subscription in Podcasting and re-adding it?
Ok thanks Steve, it worked. Now I can enjoy your show on my phone 😊
