Hi,
I have some friends working in Nokia and Sony Ericsson and would like to share with you guys with regards to the Li-ion battery.
According to them the best way to condition your newly purchased mobile device battery, is to drain out totally when you first gotten the phone. The manufacturers will charge the battery up to about 30% as factory default for customers to try or test the phones.
However, the best way is to drain out totally the battery when you first gotten the mobile devices, then charge it for 12hours, and need to do this 3 times.
Make it simple, drain out totally the newly purchased battery, and charged for 12 hours, repeat this for 3 times, and your Li-ion battery life will maximize. Unlike the mobile device shops seller/salesmen said initial charge for 8 hours. This is no true.
Hope this helps.
Cheers'
