Well... does the 'official' UK version have an enhanced camera or any other new features, or is it just like an import or an Orange P800 with slightly newer firmware?

Sounds like the UK version is just a plain vanilla P800 (albeit with the latest firmware, available from an SE service centre near you). Why did they take so long to release it then? Sounds like they may have been having problem manfaturing in volume, I can think of no other reason for the slow 'dribs and drabs' style launch across the world.
