How to install Ovi Store on the Nokia N95

If you have a Nokia N95 you might like to watch Ovi Gaming's video of how to install Ovi Store (this should work on most other Nokia phones too). It's very simple to do the installation, but if you're at all unsure about the process this video may make things clearer. As an alternative to the application, the video also shows how to access Ovi Store through the phone's web browser.

Read on in the full article.

The Ovi Store icon does not appear in my N95's "Download!" store. It's a box-standard N95 with latest firmware running on T-mobile payg.

Neilhoskins, I think the content of Download depends on which country you're accessing it from. Different countries seem to have a different selection of downloads. Here are some things you could try, in this order:

1. Make sure you select the "refresh content" option for every page of Download which you're looking at. It sometimes doesn't refresh properly by default, so you should refresh it manually.

2. If you can't see the icon on the front page try looking in Download's Applications section. If it's not there, try the What's New section. Again, refresh these pages if you haven't done so already.

3. If none of those things help, try visiting store.ovi.com or store.ovi.mobi on your N95's browser. There may be a link to download the Ovi Store app in there, either at the top or bottom of the page. Like Download, this seems to vary depending on where you live, some people see such links and others don't.

4. If there's no download link on the Ovi Store mobile site, you might want to try some of the unofficial app download links which are floating around the web. The Ovi Store app is freeware so there are some people offering it as a download on their own personal sites.
