I downloaded the Nokia Software Updater from the Nokia site so that I could update my N97 to Version 11.
However, I am experiencing problems installing it as I keep getting the error message:
"Installation Operation Failed. The system cannot find the file specified"
I also have similar problems when trying to install PC Suite.
Anyone else experiencing this? Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with my laptop?

I only use a Medion akoya netbook which uses windows xp
Yesterday i had a very bad virus, so i had to do a hard reset (something about owning the N97 has given me confidence to just about hard reset anything these days lol) and therefore had to download pc suite and software installer again - direct from the website as i don't have a cd drive, i had no problems downloading both.
You could ask a mate to download them on their computer maybe 😊
I dunno London, maybe it matters on which windows prog you're running ?
I'm sure someone here will come up with something that will help 😊

Do have backup of your phone data & PC registries then Uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Connectivity cable driver, PC Connectivity solution, Nokia flashing cable driver(if any on your PC), Run PC Suite cleaner. (you can check in google for the same ) Install latest Nokia PC Suite from europe.nokia.com/pcsuite, reboot your pc. Once pc started, connect your phone with USB in different ports of your PC and check 😊
Removing PC Connectivity Solution is too important as it wont have NOKIA tag, but if you run PC Suite cleaner, it will remove this automatically 😊
If this option fails, you can install Nokia OVI Suite from your DVD came along with your device or from Nokia site.
