Using NSS to update from firmware 507 to 505

Hi all,

Is it possible to upgrade my North American N97 ( NAM rom 507 ) to a ROM 505 Taiwanese version so that I can read chinese on my cell phone?
Anyone tried it with 507 to any 505 ?

Would it possibly brick my cell phone??

And also, North america is using HSDPA frequency 850 instead of all other countries ( 900 ), would I still be able to use the HSDPA if I update my phone using NSS?

Don't do it. It won't work.

Apart from any other dangers to the phone by loading a different region's FW, you will invalidate the warranty the second you change product code using NSS

There are no chinese version of rom 507...
