Hi all,

With OS 6.1 and 7.0 😃 , just want to know if an application can be informed when the mobile leaves 😞 zone of cover and when the mobile comes back 😃 into it.
Please help me on htis topic :P .

MiniGPS seems to be a beginning of solution for my problem. But I wonder :roll: if an application is able to check MiniGPS's information, such dBm receive level, to inform user by ring or message. I haven't seen any information about miniGPS OS 6.1 documentation.
Does anyone have an example to send to me ? :bday:

Barmal, you can get miniGPS to SMS you when you leave a cell (or group of cells), but not when signal strength drops.

Do you live in an area with just one transmitter, and variable signal quality?

It was just an example in use of MiniGPS informations, it should be cell number or else. I wanted to know how to have access to these information. I said Symbian OS 6.1 documentation but what concerning OS 7.0 ?
