Hello all,
I recently imported my contacts to my E63 from a Nokia 5200.
Some contact's number types have been changed (cell number shows as home, and viceversa).
How can I change the type, without having to add the number again and delete the old one?
thanks in advance.
When you open the Contact , you can relable the "lines" in Options > "Edit" > edit label ... , but that is a lot of typing as well .
There might be another but : synchronising to a PC could do relabling once more .
The easiest should be using Nokia PC Suite importing the contacts to PC and then port to E63 .
In case no PC is involved , highlight the number , use Cut and Paste to the appropiate line . For E63 I am not sure , something like Fn + X , Fn + V , or so .
I am curious what happens , when you transfer the contact from E63 to 5200 ..... ?

I can change the label that way, but not the icon. I want cell icon for cell numbers, and phone icon for home numbers.
Land line calling is expensive where I live, so I want to know right away what type of line I am calling.
Also, I tried copy pasting, and I can copy but not paste!
5200 is no longer with me, so I cannot try that for you, sorry!
This sounds like re-editing the phonenumbers in the right place . Normally the Ctrl + X , Ctrl + V should do the job , but I am afraid you have to do it manually : http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board/message?board.id=communicators&message.id=35961
