Just wondering? I chose black even though it was �3.50 more expensive. The white one was so hyped as being a limited edition, I thought there would be a lot more of them around!
Plus with all the gaps and angles on it it could get rather filthy with someone like me in charge of it!
A similar poll on another site showed 80% Black and 20% White ownership.
Black.. cool and stealthy...
White is too 'look at me' and reminds me an apple product 😉
I have to set the record straight.
I have a WHITE N97 NAM.
The white portion doesn't seem to show the dirt. The white on top is smooth and below a film...same texture as the touchscreen.
The white plastic on the sides and bottoms is some high-tech engineering plastic which is durable yet flexible enough not to crack easily. Removal and replacement of the back cover is a breeze--almost fun!
The touchscreen though gets a bit greasy requiring a good wiping every now and then. If you use an alcohol wipe, it requires more friction to detect stroking until you get more hand "grease" back on it. Since the cleaning cloth they provided picks this up, just give a good wipe down after degreasing.
BTW...I chose the white mainly because I didn't want it to look like a black iPhone (Apple product).
I got black, but that was down to the operator I chose.
Suprised that majority have gone for the black... I expected more 50-50.
Initially before the phone was released I was looking to buy a black one.
But when seeing some review vids on youtube I just fell in love with the "pearlescant white" back cover so opted for the white one.
Am happy with my choice😊
When I knew I was going to get one, I wanted Black. But in Saudi, the Nokia shops only had white, and I ummed and ahhed over it, went back to the shop to get a white one, but then the sales guy produced a full working black one ( for demo of course ) and then I knew it had to be black.
Had to go to another phone shop and paid a bit extra for it, but glad I waited.
I went for the Black one. That way no one can call me a racist 😃
Didn't get a choice, my phone company gave me black. If I'd have had a choice, I would have chosen ... black! 😊

i got black as well and my gf was pressuring me to get a white one.. now i kinda want a white one and been searching for the components to switch it to white.. only problem is most housings i find on ebay dont include the white keyboard or white lcd face =(
