I am posting this here because having looked around, I think you may be my last hope (cue dramatic music :tongue: )...
Basically, I am trying to find a (half-)decent audio editing application which will run on my N95 "classic", so I could record, edit and upload short "podcast"-like recordings, entirely on the phone. The N95's voice recorder only saves to AMR (not widely supported) and WAV (too big, and also not great quality) formats, and can't trim recordings, so I'm looking for alternatives for audioblogging direct from the N95.
The perfect program would be something like an S60 version of Audacity - i.e. records in reasonable quality, capable of cutting/copying/pasting bits of audio around, saving as MP3 (and/or Ogg), and so on. Obviously, it would be a tall order to port Audacity wholesale to S60, but a program which could do the above things would be enough for me.
Despite extensive Googling around and searching the AAS shop, Handango, etc., my search has drawn a blank. All the apps I've found are either for S60 2nd Edition, or are phone call recorders, ringtone production programs, or generally not what I'm looking for. If there's no program which does editing of the type I've described, I'd settle for an MP3 encoder - i.e. a program which can convert WAV to MP3.
In short, I don't really know where else to look - does anyone here know of an N95-compatible program which can do what I'm interested in?
