3650 <-> Bluetooth <-> PC <-> Network <

Well this question may sound kinda odd but oh well, here goes...

Are there software out there that can utilize the bluetooth on the phone to connect to the desktop/notebook pc whereas the phone can make use of internet connections that are established from the desktop/notebook itself ?

Over here, the GPRS connections are too expensive to be used for mail/wap or any other applications (ICQ, Yahoo) that requires connection to the net. I am merely looking for alternatives.

Yes you can - but it will not work with the built in WAP software - but does work with webviewer and a couple of other applications, an msn messenger application rings a bell but I don't remember the name if it.

Set up a dummy GPRS enrty on the phone with the IP addy as 0.0.0.0 and the APN blank.
Then on your PC connect the bluetooth over 'serial' as you would when using 'nokia suite' and dialup to the internet.
Then on the phone, connect to the web page or whatever using the new GPRS setting on your phone and instead of actually using GPRS it will utilise the bluetooth connection and pull the internet off the PC!!

If only this would work on Oplayer &amp; realOne for streaming videos - as your right GPRS is still to damn expensive!

Splendidddd !! I've got it running in mere 5 minutes ! Thanks a lot ! It's just a shame that the browser do not support it. I may consider going for another browser just for that sense... :cry:

What's the best app in browsing? Tipicme &amp; wirelessirc are only for instant messaging &amp; I'm getting an error with webviewer. Can you recommend guys a compatible browser for 3650?

The "Doris browser" allows you to browse WWW pages with ease but the problem is that I couldn't get it running on my mobile provider's GPRS protocol (Not yet or not supported maybe). However the browser works on the local BT to desktop ADSL connection.
