I'm considering getting a 3650 but am having trouble finding specific information on some of its built-in functions.
1) I presume the contact list is limited to 500 entries (or less depending on memory). Is this correct? Can this limit be exceeded with the addition of a larger memory card?
2) Can text information, such as mailing address, be associated with a contact?
3) Can contacts be organized into groups or categories, such as family, work associates, etc.?
4) Is the task/todo list limited to 30 entries? Can this number be increased with a larger memory card?
5) Can tasks/todo entries be categorized by something other than priority or due date? Alternatively, can you have more than one todo list, say one for work projects, one for home projects, etc.?
6) Is there any existing software than can be downloaded onto the phone that will provide the features discussed above, by either enhancing the built-in PIM applications, or alternatively, bypass the built-in PIM application with a new one. To be usefull, it must be able to synch with Outlook.

There is NO limit except phone memory. In 7650 (that has 4MB) you can easily have over 2000 contacts.

Yes, as many as you like. e-mail addresses. anything.

Yes. As many categories as you like.

No, there is no limit.

No, that is not possible staight out of package. Get some program to do that. 😃

There are many different programs that do those things, check the series 60 news section for programs.

Thanks, that's all good news. I'm that much closer to getting a 3650. I only need to find some software to expand its todo list capabilities. Any suggestions?

Its like a database.. for each person you define the labels used on each category and then put the data in.. Very advanced.

Do they sync with outlook categories? I havnt tried till now but in the 9210 the categories did not sync.. groups in any nokia phone as far as I know are for personalization and setting ringing tones or messaging lists.. but do not sync with outlook as categories...
