I've come across a weird bug in the podcasting app. If you set the storage to mass media it keeps changing back to phone memory on its own.
Very annoying as my phone memory keeps getting full and I have to manually delete and force the app to download to mass memory.
Roll on v12 firmware.......
I don't have this problem but could it be down to keeping the podcasting app open, or on auto download, even when the phone may be conencted to the computer in Mass Storage mode?
Just wondering as when connecting to the PC in Mass Storage mode almost everything that uses/writes to the E: drive is unable to do so as the PC has exclusive access to the drive. So new messages, for example, will be stored on C: if they are received when plugged in to the PC in Mass Storage mode, even if the message store was moved to E:.
Does it should like that could be the issue?
Yes you're right!
I did some investigating and it is indeed when the phone is connected by USB but it happens in both PC suite mode and mass storage.
I always keep the podcasting app open and autoupdating so I guess I'll have to close that down before connecting the USB cable. Pretty annoying though.
