Recovering lost data on my Nokia N91 8GB

Hello.

I have a Nokia N91 8GB. It's always been slow, but these days it really pissed me off (takes more that 30 seconds to open SMS inbox, and sometimes it won't open and I have to restart). A friend told me it's because I've overfilled my hard drive, but if I payed for a 8GB phone, I want to be able to use all 8GB, and it has to work.

Anyway, I thought I should try and master-reset it, hoping that would improve things. I've read on a bunch of forums (including this one) and asked around, and I've been told about the 3 key combination when you turn on the phone. I was also told it was supposed to present me with options, not just erase everything without telling me.

So, when my nokia asked me for date & time, I knew that I've made a stupid mistake. Of course, the hard drive is intact (and I was hoping it would be formated or something), and everything else (even on my SIM card) is gone. I don't really mind the messages, but I need my contacts, I've accumulated these over the years, and they're really valuable to me. Is there a way to bring them back? ANY way?

Thanks. And sorry if my English is bad, it's not my native language.

I am sorry to hear you were not well informed . The right information can be found in this forum though Hope you will have a backup somewhere on another device .
The phone should be speedy by now , and the files on the massmemory intact .

Contacts and settings can be backupped on massmemory though .
