Mobile Satnav, idiots guide please

Hi peeps,

I could really do with an idiots guide to mobile satnav. I have been looking for satnav but decided to go with Route 66 Mobile 8 for my Nokia N95.

I'm really not sure how to use this. What I want is to be able to get step by step instructions from where I am to a postcode destination. Having problems setting up and finding my position. Is there an idiots guide somewhere?

Also, and most importantly, am I charged anything for this service? It is asking me about connecting to T-Mobile hotspots and stuff and I don't want to do that because they charge an absolute fortune but I want my Satnav to work.

I bought Route 66 Mobile 8 for UK so I'm assuming it has UK maps installed with it so I don't need to download any maps?

Does this have anything to do with the phones Maps application? It keeps asking me to download maps, and pay for them via an Ovi website.

Sorry if I seem thick but this is all really new and confusing to me. :con?

Thanks in advance.
