I might have moved something around for my camera. It works, but I was thinking it would work by just clicking the button on the right side of my phone, but it doesn't seem to be that easy. If I click on it, it doesn't do anything. What I did was move the camera icon from on of the other levels to my desktop so that its right here on top. I click on it and then I click on the camera button, then the button works fine. But just wondering if I might have inadvertantly changed some settings or not and that is why I had to move an icon to the front.
Thanks,
Bob
Move around the camera Icon doesn't change the settings . Setting change can be done only when camera is opened . Also clicking the button works only when camera is opened first .
Button halfway down = focussing . Only when focussing is realised , press button full down for capture .
My camera is without sound , when profile is set to silence : long-press # in Homescreen/Desk .

Thanks for the info. I wasn't trying to change the setting just not to have to go to seveal screens to find it when you want to take a quick photo.
I appreciate the info and will try your suggestion.
Thanks,
Bob
When I put the icon on my desktop it wasn't to change settings it was to give me some kind of instant access to it. I don't know if there are any short cuts to the camera any other way.
Thanks,
Bobby
I am using the following way for a quick intuitive access to Camera . For this I changed the Stanby Mode : Instr > Settings > General > Personaly > Active Standby : Off . Now you can choose 7 Shortcuts .
My Camera shortcut is : D-pad center down .
When I pickup the phone from my pocket , meanwhile pressing the D blindly down , the camera is open for use .
It works of course only when keypad is not locked .
Example while working on innerscreen all of a sudden I want to shoot a picture : press Desk , press D down , close cover and camera is ready to use .
