Cannot update maps application. Unspecified error (1)

Greetings.

Does anyone have a link to the sisx installation file for Nokia Maps 3.0 for Nokia N97. T-Mobile have disabled 'Software Update' via the phone, so the only way to update is via the Nokia PC application 'Nokia Maps Updater'.

However, when running Nokia Maps Updater, the application recognises and downloads version 3.0, but then fails with the following message.

Cannot updated maps application. Unspecified error (1)

Require direct link to installation file please.

And here is the rather radical fix for those suffering the same plight.

This will format (hard reset) the Nokia N97. (Obviously back up your phone first)

If you already have v11.0.021 then you'll be back with v11.0.021 and Nokia Maps 2.0. Use Nokia Maps Updater as usual and the process will complete.

I can only conclude that upgrading my firmware from T-Mobile-imprisoned v10 to T-Mobile-imprisoned v11.0.021 corrupted the system.
