N85 GPS Signal problem

Hi everyone,

Im having problems with my gps, i just installed Garmin mobile xt. All works fine except the signal strength is really low (low enough for it to get no data).

Just to check if this was a garmin problem or a phone problem i then checked the signal strength by going to tools>connectivity>gps data>options>satellite status. I am getting 2 bars full, is this a good thing?? how many bars do you get?? all other bars are really low...

When i then try to find out my position (also under gps data). all i get is waiting for gps... so im assuming its got the same problem, low signal strength.

I have set the positioning method to integrated GPS only, since i dont want to be charged anything. But i have tried it using different combinations.

i have tried waiting for a signal for about 20 minutes with no luck. I know that its got nothing to do with the area since it works with another phone that also has garmin.

I know that about 3 weeks ago the GPS was working fine as in Nokia maps i could get my position. However now even that is now not working. Have i changed anything no mess it up??
