Hi all, im from singapore and just got my Nokia N97, overall its a nice phone but i had this prob which i cant solved. I can connect to my home wireless, frens' place, wireless@sg etc etc, but i just canot connect to my office wireless network (Apple Airport), do i need some settings? Cos my colleague he had a HTC Touch 3G and all he do is to disable his HSDPA and he is able to connect thru the office airport. Anyone able to soved this prob? Thx

To test whether you can connect to the Air Port wireless access point....

Menu->Settings->Connectivity->Wireless LAN

If you can see the wireless acces point, select Options->Connect

Then go to Connectivity->Destinations->Internet to see if this access point has been added.

With the new access point selected (single tap), then select Options->Organize->Change Priority and then tap where you want it in relation to your other access points including your cellular internet, then tap Ok.

This should assign the proper priorities.

One thing to be careful of....many offices will make wireless access points available for general internet usage, but some (like mine) will close certain ports needed for online messaging (fring) and email (pop3, imap) so you may be limited to simple internet browsing.
