Hello alltogether,
My E61 has recently played up a bit. Here is what happened:
# Lower keys like space, V, B did not work but that problem resolved itself after a while...
# Now the joystick is stuck once you move it to the right (to move along the menue on the desktop). It keeps going to the right along the symbols and nothing can stop it apart from switching it off or locking the keys (which funnily still works).
I have now opened the phone but don't know how to remove the joystick. I first thought cleaning contacts would help, but the problem still exists.
Has anyone got a good idea or solved a similar problem before?

Hi,
Well I have of course already opened it, taken the keypad out and wanted to clean the contacts of the joystick. No idea how to get there however. The joystick as well as the white foil under the keypad are fixed. Any hint how to get to the bottom of the stick?
What I was also wondering is: Is this rather a hardsware or could it be a software problem??

hi, if u want to clarify the doubt(software problem), u can format ur phone, if ur joystick still ain`t work after formatting,maybe u need to change another joystick.
there still a solution---rock ur joystick. (don`t be tender,just rock it😃)
u know,oxidation make the joystick rusted and stuck,after a rocking,ur joy stick would be clear and work again.
i`m not sure whether it would be workable on ur phone, but it really work on mine.

1 important thing i want to remind u,the joystick of E61 is welded on a board, so it can`t be got unless u take the entire phone apart. sound terrible,huh?😃

Hi again,
Well, I guess I do need some pictures on disassembling the complete phone. Did a reset after some WD40 didn't help. It's still there: The joystick is stuck in the right (3pm) position causing every menue revolving around towards the right. Seems I need to exchange it or at least take it out and check what I can do about it. So any help would be much appreaciated.
