Changing the product code in my E75

Hi Guys,

I have an E75 that has Australian Optus branding in it and the product code is not allowing me to upgrade to the latest firmware, plus I hate the Optus animations.

Can someone please give me some instructions on how to change the product code so I can get the latest software?

I have tried NSS, but I get a error and it wont recognize the phone.

Has anyone had success using Phoenix or JAS? is so, can you please direct me to a link with instructions?

Thanks.

First ask yourself, if you really want to have the newest software - some features got deleted in the newest edition (silencing rings and alarms using g-sensor).

NSS worked like charm for me - I have changed the product code from Polish Plus GSM operator to general Eastern Europe and now NSU shows that there is a new update. As I cannot revert it (did not dig this subject yet) and I really like those G-sensor stuff they have deleted - I will keep the older firmware for now.
