Hi! Anyone have any issues purchasing games from N-Gage? I keep on getting this message:
An unexpected error occurred during the purchase request. Please:
Make sure you have network coverage.
Restart N-Gage application.
Try again later.
I have tried everything suggested there, even doing a hardware reset, reinstalling the N-Gage app. still nothing. But i have excellent connection, via WiFi or and 3G! I can make purchase, surf the net, do other stuff easily. i could even connect to n-gage and download more games and change my status etc etc, but when it comes to purchasing a game via the "purchase now" option it gives me the above error. anyone else having the same issue?
Bump. Mine's the same. I can use it like normal. To download the trials and browse the shop but I can't purchase either.
Ive contacted Nokia CS. and they r pretty useless. The CS wants.
1. Factory Settting restored - done - nothing
2. Try going to the ovi mobi site - of course it works
3. re-install n-gage and clear cache - done - still the same
4. re-install the firmware - done (upgraded to v12) still the same.
Now Nokia CS is trying to blame the SIM card, so i swapped over the SIM card and its still the same... I explained to them EVERYTHING works, purchasing using operator billing from a software works! from third party software and ovi store! works perfecly! how come N-gage wont work.. and i explained to them downloading games works, and now this new idiot asked me to download it from the nokia website and transfer it! grrrrr! so i told them and shown them other forum who having the same issue and what it would take to get nokia to realise thats it their N-gage software and not the user!!!
