If you made a backup of what you have when you first got your phone, before installing any programs, you should be able to restore it back as what it was before by using the backup and restore program from the P800 Suite software. Sorry, this is the only solution that I know that you can do, other than bringing it to a SE Service Point. Good Luck.

Unfortunately this is the biggest problem since i cannot even enter my pin code, my phone wont even connect to the mRouter. I cant access the service menu as well to format my phone.

This just happened to me as well. Any fixes for this? I can't sync, can't use the phone, can't do anything. this is really bad!

Best thing is to take it to SE. I dont think some home quick fix will solve it.

Suggestions:
1.) Try borrowing someone elses sim card and turn it on.
2.) Empty or back your Memstick duo via the memstick adapter>card reader>PC

3.) Then try turning on your Phone again.

Yeah, happened to me. I put it in the charging cradle, and it came up with a message that the internal memory was corrupted, and it should be formatted. I did this. Lost everything and then restored my backup.

Works like new now! except for the scratches from where it fell out of the window.... :P

I had the same problem. I couldn't even connect the phone to my PC. I even tried clearing space on my external memory but nothing worked. I had to take it to SE and have them format the whole thing and then I could restore from my latest backup, but the good thing is that I got the latest firmware upgrade from SE 😊
So if you have this problem I suggest you just take it to the nearest service center and let them fix it. I don't know if this problem has been fixed in the latest firmware, does anybody know?

the best think you can do is to flash your phone to a newer firmware, and i promise your problem will be resolved. this is happening with the older firmware version. :turn-l:

thanks but where in new york? when the phone is not yet available!
that when you know you got something good.... when you loose it!

guyz, what's the latest firmware version of P800 at the moment?

i'm considering to get a P800. there are lots of pros rather than cons. i also know that each and every new device in the market have bugs. and that is why there are firmware upgrades.

btw, does P800 have a so call 'Safe Mode', by pressing somekey to bypass any startup application like N7650 has?
