Oh man, my phone's messaging just reset itself. I restarted my phone and bang. Lost 1000+ inbox messages and all my multimedia messages.
Can you show me where to find the files for all my messages? It's all saved on my memory card somewhere...
Anything would be so helpful. Thank you.
I don't know exactly where the messages are stored on memorycard , but I suppose it must be in the hidden folder PRIVATE .
When your messaging application was set to massmemory (memorycard) , Options > Settings etc. , set messaging after the reset back to MC . Messages should show up again .

Did you set the message app to use the Memory card? (The default is to write messages to internal phone memory)
If so, you should be able to reinstate all lost messages as follows:-
Launch Messaging app & select Options-> Settings -> Other -> Memory in use -> E:MassMemory
Yeah, I tried it but it just says 0 messages for everything and i've lost my email inbox. so yeah. I have no idea what happened hahahaahahhaah. Ah well. 1000+ messages isn't a big deal anymore! Girlfriend has all the messages between us, afterall. Thanks for your help guys.
The private folder... had nothing that i counted as important? hahaha. I don't know. nothing stood out to me. The folder Mail2... didnt' really have anything either? Oh well. I just hope that it doesnt happen again. No biggie!
