No HSCSD internet account ?

2 replies · 1,896 views · Started 07 March 2003

The manual speaks about three possible types of internet accounts: Dial-UP (=CSD 9.6k), HSCDS (=max. 28k) and GPRS. On my german P800 it only shows 2 entries Dial-Up and GPRS. My provider supports HSDCSD and with my old T68m it worked like a breeze. Do I need a software upgrade or something ? Where is the third entry ? Look:

The P800 supports HSCSD fine - just goto 'internet accounts' and edit the account- set it to 'dial up' (i.e. CSD-Circuit Switched Data) and then goto 'advanced' section, and along to the 'speed' section within.

You'll find a 'Enable High Speed' tickbox, so tick that, select the desired speed (between 9.6kbps and 28.8kbps) and you're done! 😊

I gave up too early...there was another tab I've missed 😮ops:

Thanks for the hint... 😃

BTW the manual shows another way of setting it up...strange...
