Howto select and copy some of my Contacts to SIM card? (6220c)

Goal: To copy a selection of my Contacts to another phone (Nokia 3100)

Obstacles:
* The 3100 does not have any IR, Bluetooth or USB-connections. So I conclude that the only possibility is to copy them onto the SIM card....?
* As I believe the SIM card will not hold all my Contacts (how do I check that?), I'm a bit stumped on how to easily copy a selection. - Going through the contacts pressing "Options > down-scroll x6 > Mark/Unmark > Mark" for approx 100 names seems too laborious! 😊 I've created a group and copied them to there (much quicker), but when in a group there is no option to 'copy to SIM'...

Any advice? TIA.

This is a try :
1) Contacts > Options > SIM Contacts > Options > SIM Info/data . Mine holds 250 places . Yours let say : X
2) Copy the first "X" contacts to your SIM .
Mark > Copy to SIM .
3) Place the SIM now in the other Phone and copy all "X" contacts to the phone's Contact list .
4) Replace the SIM to the first Phone now and delete al contacts on SIM ( Mark All > Delete ) .
5) Copy next "X" contacts to SIM and go to 3)
6) etc.
7) Maybe it is a good idea to check first how many contactplaces are on the second phone . (Options > Contactinfo , or similar)
8) Contactgroups cannot be copied to SIM .....

japi, thanks... But:
1) I simply don't have/can't find that option on the 6220c - moved the sim to the 3100 it was easy to determine 230 places... 😊
2) This is the problem. I can't find any easy method to mark a lot of contacts... AFAICT it takes 9 key presses for each one!! :frown:

It should be easy : Open Contacts > Press # key , (this is also shift key , with the arrow up) . Now one contact is marked .
Marking contacts in a row : hold # down and navigate down the list .
All sequential contacts are marked , but check them carefull , because one wrong keypress unmarks again !

Bullseye!!! Thanks 😃 How have you found out that shortcut? Do you have any links to other hidden-but-usefull-info? .. Generally I think the documentation/manual that came with the phone is much too brief - kind of like the owners hand book vs. the workshop manual for a car or motorcycle..!

Great that it works . I don't own a 6220 , but some trial and error can do a lot .
1) Menu Button : when you are in menu try buttons 1,2,3....0 to open up the applications .
When more applications are open : longpress Menubutton . You will probably see a list . Select or delete an item . (Multitasking)
2) Red button key : when in an App close it with red button
3) do some websearch .
4) good luck and take care .
