I don't know how this happened, but a couple of weeks ago I checked for an OTA update for my SIM free 5800, which had a Vodafone SIM in it. It told me an update was available and I went ahead and updated it.
Comparing my phone with my son's I noticed that mine has V30.0.011. Swapping my SIM to my son's phone (he is on T-Mobile, but it's an unlocked phone) and re-running the setup wizard to get the Voda settings there were no updates available beyond his currently installed V20.xxx.
I thought that V20.xxx was the latest, so how come I ended up with V30.0.011 and does anyone know anything about that version?
