All of a sudden on E90 when I call someone I get a beep and something that talks about "Packet conection data on hold". I never had that before. Did I inadvertantly change some setting with out knowing it???? Not sure where this comes from.
Also on a side note---Looking for a real inxpensive mobile phone, used, for my granddaughter whose brother poured water all over her phone. It is now ruined--too much water for rice or any other remedies. Many of us have old phones we don't use any more--just looking please. Dad is fighting in one of our Wars and not home to help.
I know this note doesn't belong on here but I thought I would ask any way.
Thanks,
Bobby
Hi Rootytooty , did you check : Instruments > Settings > Phone/Device > Network (option 4) > Network Settings ? Mine is on Dual Mode (GSM + UMTS)
It might also an Operator issue and not a Device issue .
Sorry , I don't have a spare phone , but as an advise , read my post here : http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/84016/&highlight=Wet+phone

Thanks for both answers, I appreciate it.
One other thing if you put your phone in a baggie with rice in it, the rice will suck the extra water out. I told my granddaughter to that and it worked twice. This time my grandson pour water all over it and it is really soaked. I will try your suggestion too.
Thanks,
Bobby
As a follow up, even thoght he spilled water all over it the old bag of rice things still worked again.
Thanks,
Bobby
