Has anyone else noticed the adverts starting to appear on TV for the 3G mobile network? Looks like it will be launched soon!

At 60p/m for a contract who will dive straight in?...I think i'll be giving it a miss, I see a future of 500p/m phone bills if I took that on in a hurry.

And the fact that hardly anyone will have a compatible handset also puts me off, I think i'll wait and see what the market it like 6 months - 1 year down the line.

Oh!, and wait for a Symbian 3G handset to be released of course 😉

Yeah I saw that too. There was a news item on BBC News too. About three.co.uk They asked around london and people replyed that 60/m is a bloody bad deal. I saw it all in action though and I must say it is very impresssive. However, it is still VERY early. I wait too.

Yup, I saw that too, they have a shop in London somewhere, you can go in and play with them 😊

I'd want to stick with Symbian and the Fujitsi F2051 doesn't really float my boat, looks a bit....erm....you know....crap.

Other problem is that when you leave the 3G area you get dropped back into the dark ages of 2.5G. What fun! Even still, it's 60 a month, but the deal the other side is meant to be good, i.e. cheap calls, loads of minutes etc etc.
