Hey ppl,
Just got round to updating my phone to v11 on 3. I made a backup of everything that i needed to as i thought it would wipe everything from the phone.

Its not really a problem, but when my phone came back on it was like i never even done the update. Its telling me that it has v11 software on it but it didnt delete anything??

Shall i keep the backup anyway? Just in case?

The updates don't delete your personal setting anymore, type in *#0000# and you will see the new firmware has been installed.

Thanks for the reply buddy.

They dont delete anything anymore? Since when?

So why do they suggest on the nokia software updater app that you should backup all data before proceeding with the update?
