Just notes over on Nokia Discussions....
In the Software Update listing a new, small item has appeared
"Install Before Phone Software 0.1"
Installed it.
Don't see it in the Application Manager->Loaded Applications listing
Don't notice any difference.
Anyone have a clue what it fixes or adds?
UPDATE.....appears to be listed in Loaded Apps as "FOTA settings".
Well in case you don't already know fota stands for Firmware over the air but that should already be in your phone.
its well documented that the n97 fota profile was messed up this patch obvously fixes the fota profile for the n97 to allow it to work for future updates 😊
Before I did a Factory Reset and internal reformat (which by the way I now have 47.5 MB free on C: 😊 ) I made a list of all SEVENTY NINE (79) applications that I had showing in my Installed Apps.
FOTA Settings was not previously listed.
It only could have come from me running the above mentioned update today.
