I got a message saying that I am running out of space, personally, I dont know why when all I have on the P800 is my address book. I Place a few ringtones(wav format around 13mb) on the Memstick but this was on the memstick?!? Does this still affect the Phone mem? Does asigning these ringtones to certain names affect the phone memory even if the ringtones themselves are on the memory stick? How could I be out of memory whenI only have around for pictures, and me address book. Funny thing is, after I got this message I decided to clean up my address book by deleting old contacts.. I deleted around 30 contacts on outlook. The sync option is on select last change item. After sync all these numbers are gone but I also have lesser memory!! .03mb of it left 😞 Heeeelp!
Out of memory prob?!?
i got tones of pictures a movie trailer one mp3 songloads of programs and tones of wav file for rings( even though i only use one), just like to show them off i guess, but i can't see how your memory is low, try a hard reset. 😞
Did you try to remove your Mem Stick and boot up? If you have a file manager installed (iqfileman I think) you should be able to find how much memory is used.
I was able to check how much memory I had by looking at the files in the uninstall portion. I had 12 mb-(tones, pics,etc..)=whatevers left. So i moved all my pics to the card and freed up more space.
Have youd guys experienced installing aps directly to the memstick? Will it work and is it as fast?
Has any1 found out how to use the flash rom?

What type of ringtones did you put in? I placed wav format tones so they are pretty big, I dont have conerters for the other types. MP3cant be use as a ring tone,wish it did though..
I don't know, it osunds to me that unless you have downloaded 20 Megs of Ringtones you should have plenty of space.
App. work fine from the Mem stick. However I like to have opera, Handyday and Handyexpense, filemanager e.t.c on the phone because that way I can swap cards with Mp3 and games wihtout using functionality.
I tried every combination though and there's no problem with delays from the card.
First thing I did was ERASE most of the ring tones, the video samples and Mp3 samples that came with the phone because the tones are lame and who cares about World of connectivity.
I have downloaded my own ringtones, even recorded a couple of cool sounds through voice memo and use them as alarms. I have 4 Movieclips 35 minutes of music plenty of apps and around 3.5 Megs left.
Sooo something's wrong.
