Clock Question

Don't mean to be a blonde here, but you see next to the clock on the phone, there's a little sun symbol... also find it on some of the times in the world timer, usually US times.

What does this symbolize?

I believe this indicates Daylight Savings Time (DST). We might see it disappear late October when the clocks go back.

The reason why some places on the world clock have the sun symbol and others don't is because DST isn't used all over the world. For example, it's no longer used in Japan. If you put Tokyo, Japan in the world clocks right now there'll be no sun symbol.

See Wikipedia's page on DST for more info.
