all this talk and no one bothered to ask or mention anything about 5th edition support.
But really.
I went through whole article waiting to see any news about s60v5 support. So please tell me, will this version be touch optimized?
I'm also wondering about 5th edition support.....
I echo what the guys above say, i too read this article in hope to see S60 5th Edition support, but nothing 😞 The Skyfire team have not yet answered my question about this on Twitter either. They promised 5th Edition support was coming real soon months ago in a video.
I've used Skyfire on a touch device (Qtek 9100 Winmo), it works really well. So i also look forward to v5 support in the near future.
I was told this version does not support the N97, so I assume that means no S60 5th Edition support, I will see what I can find out.
This seems to be the update that (to me) tips the scale for Skyfire. With previous versions the lag in screen update meant I really only used it if the other browsers couldn't handle the pages, but I think that will change now, it really works much smoother now.
Now the main issue is the fitting of the text columns to the screen width, there the standard browser (on the N82) is still a lot better.
The new version still refuses to work on E90 inner screen .

Nothing new there then. 🙄
a version that works very well on my Samsung G810. Now if they only had screen rotation...
Since there is noone excited about Skyfire here, shall we just talk about something else?
movies, for example?

😃
I'm excited about it; as a matter of fact, it's replaced Opera Mini as my 'go to' browser on S60, and I loved Opera Mini.
Skyfire team any news about a new version for N97. s60V5? please consider and release a version that supports new phones with touch screen. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Waiting...
Skyfire works on my N97 [only cannot use the touch screen], waiting for the S60V5 version. To me this is the best browser.
