I just brought my N97 5 days back. I wanted toi know it my lense is faulty or a software issue.
The problem i am facing is : whenever i click a snap in the dark there a a yellow glow on the left side of the pic ... snaps without flash are coming normal , but only in the dark the left side becomes tellowish.

Welcome to the N97, some have hypothesised that it's because there are 2 flashes on the left and it overpowers the picture. But mostly, it's the fact that the little slider "protecting" the camera scratches your lens, if you look closely you should see a few straight lines between the camera and the flash.
Send it back for repair or a replacement.
