Low priced? On a phone that most people can only get on a multi-year long term contract, which probably involves changing networks, and has a sim-free cost of about 600 euros? (You could buy three or four PSPs for that kind of money, and they'd have better graphics.) You do realise Apple takes a share of your phone bill if you buy an iPhone on contract? Or do hidden charges not count?
A typical Ovi Store phone costs about 100 - 150 euros unlocked and is available on all contracts too. That's cheap and flexible enough for practically anyone to afford. Even people in the developing world might get hold of an Ovi Store app, something that can't be said for iPhone apps.
The point of Ovi Store is to bring phone content shops to the masses, not to a rich elite. The latest compatible phone, the 5230, was announced in India, a developing country, and will cost about 150 euros unlocked. That's one quarter of the price of an iPhone.
and for us n series users who paid 400eu, 500eu or 600eu for their devices? (an iphone can be bought at that prices and can be unlocked) so dont come and tell me its only for rich people cause nokia do the same prices. Us n serier do we have something better to play or we must still play this java games which are played on cheap s40 phones? For us n series users there might be ngage but to have a decent game we must wait months and they still cost more than apple. Lol after 1 year still waiting for 3d hard acc game of One!! Haha what a joke nokia

400 euros isn't a rich person's phone? Are you serious? Have you seen how much most people earn on this planet?
The average sale price of a mobile is something like 70 to 80 euros unlocked, with the cheapest models at around 40 euros unlocked.
The majority of mobile phone sales are to people in poor countries, where 400 euros would be more than a month's wages for a family. It would be like asking someone in the rich world to spend 3000-5000 euros on a phone.
And even in the rich world the bulk of moblie sales are basic devices that are under 200 euros unlocked.
cause nokia do the same prices
No they don't, at least not mostly.
The typical price of Nokia device sale is about 80 euros. If you pick a Nokia user at random, the odds are that they paid something like 50 to 100 euros for their phone (and that's with any subsidies removed).
There are expensive Nokia devices, but most Nokia users don't buy them, and those that do would probably be buying them mainly for things like a good camera or a QWERTY keyboard.

Ovi Store games range in price from 0 to 7 euros, with a typical game being 3 to 5 euros. I don't think that's any more expensive than on the iPhone.
Have you actually tried Ovi Store or are you only talking about N-Gage games? Ovi Store is available on all Nokia smartphones and most non-smart phones too.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "decent" game, maybe you're confusing graphics with gameplay?
I hear what you're saying about Nokia's high end devices not being as cutting edge as they used to be, and I'd agree the N97 is overpriced for what it is.
But that's why Nokia's moving their high end devices onto a new platform called Maemo (try searching Google for Nokia Maemo or N900). If the rumours are correct we should see the first Maemo device out by the end of this year with lots more to follow in 2010.
Maemo devices will have much faster processors (OMAP3), proper graphics acceleration hardware, and a totally new interface with a totally new operating system. Symbian will move entirely onto Nokia's mid-range and low-end devices, with Maemo taking over the high-end.
Basically, wait until Maemo comes before you judge Nokia's high-end range.
